Imperial Dawn (GB), trained by Paul & Oliver Cole, did not enter the Parade Ring due to Kieran O'Neill being delayed in weighing out having ridden in the previous race which was late off.
Leaving the stalls, Desert Mist (IRE), placed third, jumped left-handed, hampering Hotalena (GB), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Desert Mist (IRE).
Approaching the final furlong, Iesha (GB), placed eighth, hung left-handed whilst racing greenly, bumping and causing Imperial Dawn (GB), placed sixth, to become unbalanced, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Andrew Mullen reported that Hotalena (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed and moved poorly throughout; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly shortly after the race failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Cieren Fallon reported that the saddle slipped on Mid Day Rush (IRE) and he subsequently pulled the filly up and Kieran Shoemark reported that Araucana (GB), placed seventh, was denied a clear run on several occasions in the home straight.
