An enquiry was held to consider interference on the first bend when Nortonthorpe Boy (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Grace McEntee, interfered with Patsy Fagan (IRE), placed second, ridden by Paul Hanagan.
McEntee was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she shifted left, towards the rail, when insufficiently clear causing Hanagan to have to take a check off heels.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Split Elevens (GB), placed third, hung right-handed under pressure.
