An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the first bend when the winner, Cornerstone Lad (GB), ridden by Billy Garritty, interfered with Notation (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Joe Fanning.
Garritty was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his horse to drift left without sufficient correction, causing Fanning to check for a number of strides.
Following the race, the representative of David Menuisier reported that Sameer (FR), placed sixth, had a breathing problem.
