Entering the first bend, Amlwch (IRE), placed second, hung right-handed bumping Amalfi Salsa (IRE), unplaced, causing the filly to shift right and hamper Twilley (GB), placed sixth, which in turn carried Capla Lass (GB), placed seventh, wide off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Amlwch (IRE).
The performance of Alaskan Lady (IRE), which started favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
Claire Kubler’s explanation that the filly was unsuited by the undulating track on this occasion, was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Alaskan Lady (IRE), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Daniel Muscutt reported that Amalfi Salsa (IRE), unplaced, hung right-handed on the first bend and Pierre-Louis Jamin reported that Spirit Of Sisra (IRE), placed fourth, hung right- handed in the home straight.
Sebastian Woods reported that POET’S PARK, unplaced, hung right-handed throughout.
