The winner, Muraaqeb (GB), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 27 April 2019 where the gelding finished eleventh of twelve, beaten by 40 lengths.
It was noted that Milton Bradley’s representative could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form, except that the gelding may have benefitted from the recent run at Wolverhampton.
Following the race, Eoin Walsh reported that Outrath (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling.
