The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Mattie's Mountain, ridden by G.P
Brouder, placed first and Pairc Na Ngael, ridden by S.D. Torrens, placed second, where it appeared Pairc Na Ngael met with interference and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. They were, however. of the opinion that G.P. Brouder was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record they suspended him for 3 racedays
G.P. Brouder, rider of Mattie's Mountain trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right
S.D. Torrens, rider of Pairc Na Ngael trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference in the closing stages
