The Raceday Stewards received a request from C. Byrnes, trainer of Workforadime, for an additional ten minutes to present for identification by an IHRB official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i). The Raceday Stewards approved this request, however the animal was subsequently withdrawn by the trainer owing to transport difficulties as it had failed to arrive by the new deadline
D. Meyler, rider of Three In A Row, trained by A.L.T.Moore, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he had used his whip down the shoulder in the forehand position for corrective purposes on one occasion. Having viewed the recording of the incident in the presence of D. Meyler and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
