An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line when the winner, River Wharfe (GB), ridden by Jason Watson, interfered with Napping (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Stefano Cherchi.
The interference was found to be accidental as River Wharfe (GB) shifted quickly right, before Watson was able to correct his mount, causing Cherchi to have to take a significant check.
