Permission was given for Oasis Song (GB) to go early to post.
The Starter reported that Lethal Blast (GB) refused to enter the stalls.
Paul George was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Leaving the stalls, Jochi Khan (USA), placed second, jumped left-handed hampering PARKER’S BOY, unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Jochi Khan (USA).
Shortly after the start Oasis Song (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed away from Jochi Khan (USA), placed second, which in turn caused Full Spectrum (IRE), unplaced, to be badly tightened for room against the rail, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference one furlong after the start when Classy Lady (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Ben Robinson interfered with Jochi Khan (USA), placed second, ridden by Raul Da Silva.
Robinson was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear causing Da Silva to take a slight check.
Following the race Charlie Bennett reported that Oasis Song (GB), unplaced, suffered interference shortly after the start.
Rhiain Ingram reported that Full Spectrum (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling and hung left-handed; Paul George additionally reported that the filly did not face the kick back.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Full Spectrum (IRE) revealed the filly to be slightly lame on its left-fore.
Eoin Walsh reported that PARKER’S BOY, unplaced, was never travelling and the representative of Brian Barr reported that the gelding did not face the kick back.
