The representative of David O'Meara’s explanation that the rider had to make too much use of the filly early from a wide draw on this occasion, was noted; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Schumli (GB), during routine testing shortly after the race, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Entering the back straight, a free-running Bee Magic (IRE), unplaced, had to be checked to avoid the heels of Camacho Man (IRE), placed fifth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Inside the final furlong marker, Schumli (GB), placed eighth, drifted slightly right-handed at the same time as You Don't Own Me (IRE), placed fourth, shifted left-handed, resulting in Aiden's Reward (IRE), placed sixth, being checked, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of You Don't Own Me (IRE).
Following the race, Barry McHugh reported that Enjoy The Moment (GB), unplaced, lost its action.
