Approaching the second-last hurdle, Cards Are Dealt (IRE), placed fifth, hung left-handed before being corrected by its rider hampering WEAVER’S ANSWER, placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The Stewards noted that at the second-last hurdle, Dusky Days (IRE) hung violently left-handed and ran out through the wing before falling and unseating its rider.
