An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1½ furlongs out when Kodiak Attack (IRE), placed eighth, ridden by Shariq Mohd, interfered with El Ray (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Sean Levey.
Being a 7Ib Claiming Apprentice, Mohd was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
Mohd was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his horse to shift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of El Ray (IRE) causing Levey to have to take a check off heels.
Following the race, Tony Hamilton reported that Egrecio (GB), unplaced, was slowly away and Hollie Doyle reported that Red Alert (GB), placed second, hung left-handed in the straight.
The Veterinary Officer reported that El Ray (IRE), placed seventh, finished lame on its left-fore.
