The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the last 100 yards involving Ballybrowney Jack (FR), ridden by J.J. Slevin, placed third and Motcomb Street (USA), ridden by P. Townend, placed second, where it appeared that both horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings' and took no further action. D.E. Mullins, rider of Getaway Rose, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with slight interference on the bend away from the stands.
