The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Superb Story, trained by Dan Skelton (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis. L.P. Dempsey, rider of Tempo Mac trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped during this race.
