Bowen, placed first, Tai Sing Yeh, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed second, and Sunday Sovereign (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fifth where it appeared Is That Love ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. D. Bowen stated that he took back out and switched inside when there was no gap. J. M. Sheridan stated that he maintained a straight line and received slight interference from his inside. W. J. Lee stated that his mount rolled out a bit and received contact on its hind quarters slightly turning him out. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Big Dream trained by Anthony McCann had pulled its left fore shoe in running and punctured the sole with the toe clip.
