Ryan said he was very babyish still, that he came out and he didn't really know what to do even after having a run,. He said he always felt that he was going to win but that he was very green with him and he said he felt like a horse that was going to improve a lot so we won't rush him. The first day he ran around and was green so we rode him up there today and he probably found all that new too. It was satisfactory but he needs to come on and he thinks he will. We could look at something like the Beresford so we won't have to rush him and he'll stay at a mile. He'll handle an ease in the ground too, and he's a middle distance horse for next year.
Lord Massusus records career best in Desmond Stakes
We were disappointed the last day but things didn't go right for him, he pulled too hard. We got him switched off today, he came home well and a fast pace suited him. He won like a good horse, I thought it was a good performance. That's what he was showing us when we supplemented him for the Minstrel Stakes. That's his fifth win now. There is a little bit of ease in the ground today, the day he ran in the Listed race and was running on well (fourth in the Celebration Stakes) it was good so he's versatile. He has a low action so good ground makes no difference. We'll look forward to the big meeting now, he'll go for the Dullingham Park Stakes on Irish Champions Weekend.

Kinirons celebrates Leopardstown winner with Ethel
We're delighted with that and Luke gave her a brilliant ride,. It was her first handicap the last day and he taught her plenty, she knew her job today. The big galloping track probably suits her and we dropped her back in trip. Luke said the last day that this was probably her trip and she might even go back to a mile. She's a game filly and she'll improve a lot from that again. She's named after a special woman as well, so it's great. She's named after Tom Stanley's mother Ethel, who died, so it's great for Tom and his father to see her winning today. Tom is friendly with the owner, Jim Browne, and he's in on a few horses with him. They breed them. It's great to have another winner for the Brownes as they are big supporters of ours. We've a good few coming up. I wasn't that happy with my horses early in the season, we had some rapeseed near us. Hopefully now they are coming into form. She's lightly raced and she's learning on the job. We fancied her tonight, Luke knew her from the last day. She's versatile and we'll pick something similar for her now. We'll have a bit of fun with her. In time she might even jump a hurdle. She ran in a bumper first time but she's sharpened up every time since. She got caught in heavy ground in the bumper.
Barnacullia wins Fegentri Leg for Americans
He's been firing a few warning shots and he deserved it. All credit to the young girl she gave him a great ride and had him in a lovely position the whole way. He just ran to his ability. He looked to be the best horse in the race and he showed that he was. He's been a great servant, I don't know where we're going next but he'll probably go back chasing.
