See also » Whos-That-201-winner her two runs this year were in deep ground and we were hoping the drier ground today would be a help and she was just beaten here last year. She got stopped a bit before the straight but when she got out she stayed on very well. I've had five or six winners this year and she's been beating them all at home so I would have been very disappointed not to have won with her. It's great for the owner (David Cornwall) who hasn't been very well; he bred her and has been a great patron. I've been sticking to these mares handicap hurdles and this is a serious pot to win. An extended handicap hurdle for four yrs old and upwards mares only that are EBF eligible (123 = 11st 10lb) Weights - Top weight in the original handicap; shall not be less than 11st 10lb Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap to carry 6lb extra for each hurdle race won. Any horse rated above 123 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 11st 10lb. Subsequently, the excess over 123 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any four or five year old rated above 123 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
