An enquiry was held to consider possible interference approximately half a furlong out when the winner, Spirited Guest (GB), ridden by Tom Queally, interfered with Ventura Vision (FR), placed third, ridden by Franny Norton.
Queally was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed when not sufficiently clear, causing Norton to have to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, David Egan reported that Sharsted (GER), placed eighth, broke awkwardly from the stalls.
