The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Apollo Prince, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, Madame Plaintiff, ridden by G.F. Carroll, unplaced, and Sea The Boss (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed first, where it appeared G.F. Carroll had to sit for a stride. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
H.J. Horgan, rider of Absolute Advantage (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout
C.D. Hayes, rider of Apollo Prince, trained by Eddie & Patrick Harty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered in the straight and was eased down
R.C. Colgan, rider of Saxon Kingdom, trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped out of the stalls and dived left
