The Stewards interviewed R.A. Doyle, rider of Good World, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip excessively and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that R.A. Doyle was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 2 racedays
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Keep 'Em Lit, trained by B. R. Hamilton, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal was found to have lost the left fore shoe, but was otherwise post race normal
