Nathan Moscrop, the rider of Arcanja (IRE), reported that he pulled up due an equipment failure, in that the pin on the girth buckle had failed.
The equipment was inspected following the race.
The Stewards considered that the failure could not have been predicted with the girth apparently being in a serviceable condition prior to the race.
Therefore the Stewards took no further action.
