An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final 2 furlongs, when the winner Gorak (FR), ridden by Callum Shepherd, interfered with Iris Dancer (GB), unplaced, ridden by Franny Norton.
Shepherd was cautioned for careless riding as he had failed to take sufficient steps to keep his horse straight, causing Norton to take a minimal check.
Approaching 2 furlongs out, there was interference between the winner Gorak (FR) and Iris Dancer (GB), unplaced.
The interference was found to be accidental Approaching the final furlong, the winner Gorak (FR), hung right shifting Ascot Adventure (GB), unplaced, marginally off its intended line.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Gorak (FR).
Following the race, the representative of Clive Cox reported that Mohi (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by the Soft, Heavy in places ground on this occasion and would prefer a sounder surface.
