The Stewards enquired into the vaccination status of Annie Mc, trained by Jonjo O'Neill (in G.B.), prior to the running of this race. Evidence was heard from Mrs. J. O'Neill, trainer's representative and Dr. Lynn Hillyer, Veterinary Officer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards confirmed the withdrawal of Annie Mc

The Stewards fined Jonjo O'Neill (in GB), trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Annie Mc, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Annie Mc in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90
The Stewards interviewed H. Kirk, authorised representative of W.P. Mullins, trainer of Buildmeupbuttercup (GB), Robin De Carlow (GB) and Sancta Simona (Fr) regarding the late arrival of these horses into the Parade Ring
Evidence was heard from the trainer's representative who stated that the yard had seven horses to saddle for this race, five of whose riders had ridden in the previous race. The logistics of this number of runners combined with one mare which became particularly difficult to saddle meant they were delayed in getting all runners to the parade ring on time. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards accepted the explanation offered
The Stewards interviewed Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer of Moskovite, regarding the late arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he had runners at both Cork and Fairyhouse this afternoon. His charge in the first race had required extended veterinary attention after falling which had a knock-on effect for the saddling procedures thereafter. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards accepted the explanation offered.
