Barry Geraghty was very confident on Tipolino who proved a different class in a weak contest.
He was content to sit off the leaders even as they opened up a significant gap down the back.
Harry Rogers' charge moved closer turning in and Geraghty was still motionless as he cruised into the lead approaching the last. The result was never in doubt after.
The winner was easy to back (5/2 to 7/2f) and the winning trainer reported that his charge won despite hating the ground.
Ceder Hill set a strong pace and was joined by Benalma in the straight. He had just managed to shrug off that rival when the winner swooped past.
Jamesy Mcguire robbed him of second close home. Only a moderate sixth before the last he kept on the run-in past some tired horses.
Pebese was well held in fourth when blundering and unseating at the last while Your Right Now kept on one paced in fourth from before three out.
