The Veterinary Officer reported that Super Superjack (GB) was a gelding and not a colt as published in the racecard.

An enquiry was held to consider why William Carson, who was declared to ride Burning Sun (IRE), and was required to provide a urine sample had failed to arrive on course.
Anthony Carson, the Sampling Officer, the Clerk of the Scales and the rider's Valet were interviewed.
William Carson also gave evidence via telephone.
The Clerk of the Scales explained that he had been informed by Anthony Carson that William Carson's car had broken down en route and he would not arrive in time to ride Burning Sun (IRE) in Race 2 at 6:00pm.
The matter was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
The Starter reported that Burning Sun (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and was withdrawn at 6:01pm.
Anthony Carson was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Fenix (GB), unplaced, was slowly away; Louis Steward reported that Ajyaall (FR), placed second, reared as the stalls opened and was slowly away and Tony Hamilton reported that Lake Sand (IRE), unplaced, hung left in the home straight.
