The Stewards received a report from Mr. H.T. Hynes , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Rachel Phelan , rider of Swiss Army Officer , weighed in at 1.3 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that she attributed the weight discrepancy to a drink she had after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Rachel Phelan was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned her on this occasion
O. Enright, rider of Eriskay trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled when leaving the stalls.
