An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching four furlongs out, involving Saulire Star (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Sean Kirrane; WHO’S UR DADDY (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Madi Patzelt and Foreshadow (GB), unplaced, ridden by Ryan Sexton.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Saulire Star (IRE), which was running freely in a tightly packed field at the time, ran onto heels and ducked right-handed despite the rider’s best efforts badly hampering Foreshadow (GB).
Being a 10lb claiming apprentice, Patzelt was offered the opportunity to be accompanied but declined.
Following the race, Sean Kirrane reported that Saulire Star (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and hung badly right-handed.
Ryan Sexton reported that Foreshadow (GB), unplaced, suffered interference 4 furlongs out.
