An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong, involving the winner, Halla Dubai (IRE), ridden by Richard Kingscote; Flatley (GB), unplaced, ridden by Finley Marsh; Grey Fox (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Laura Pearson and Star Player (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Daniel Muscutt.
The interference was found to be accidental as Star Player (GB) shifted left-handed before being quickly corrected, causing Halla Dubai (IRE) to be moved left-handed giving Flatley (GB) a slight bump and moving slightly off its intended line, which in turn caused Grey Fox (IRE) to be moved slightly off its intended line.
Following the race, Daniel Muscutt reported that Star Player (GB), placed fifth, hung both ways under pressure.
