Upon landing after jumping the fifth last hurdle, Uncle Henry (IRE), unplaced, stumbled after making contact and crossing the heels of Small Bad Bob (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Turning into the home straight Straw Fan Jack (GB), placed second, became briefly short of room against the rail as it went for a tight but legitimate gap at the same time that Pasvolsky (IRE), placed fifth, lugged slightly in, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Just inside the final furlong the winner, Samba Dancer (FR), drifted left-handed, away from the whip before being quickly corrected, resulting in Sarasota Star (IRE), placed fourth, being taken off its intended line causing it to make slight contact with Straw Fan Jack (GB), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Samba Dancer (FR).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Uncle Henry (IRE), unplaced, bled from the nose.
