I thought he was well in but was a bit afraid of the three runs in a week. I was happy enough with him at home though so we had to run as he'll have to run off 66 the next day. He's a tough horse and I genuinely believe he'll make a top-class jumps horse. He's tough and stays and has schooled well over hurdles. James M Barrett, trainer

An extended handicap for three yrs old and upwards (75 = 11st)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and; after the time of declarations shall not; be less than 11st and the minimum weight; is 9st 7lb
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra; for each race won Any horse rated above 75 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 11st. Subsequently, the excess over 75 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any three year old rated above 75 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
Riders - Ladies who are Qualified under I.N.H.S. Rules and Lady who are members of Fegentri. This is a Fegentri Race and there will be 8 International and one Irish Rider selected to ride the top 9 horses in the race after the time of declaration. The draw will be made by the Declarations Department of Horse Racing Ireland. There will be no allowances to in this race.
