Approximately 3 ½ furlongs out, Colour Code (IRE), unplaced, shifted right-handed as Apocalyx (GB), unplaced, moved into a legitimate gap, causing the latter to be moved off its intended line which in turn carried Vince Le Prince (GB), unplaced, off its intended racing line which in turn moved John L Sullivan (IRE), placed fourth, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Ryan Kavanagh reported that Zebra Star (IRE), unplaced, missed the break.
