The Stewards enquired into an incident after coming out of stalls involving Angel's Trumpet, ridden by D
McMonagle, placed fifth and Plunkett (GB), ridden by Sam Ewing, unplaced, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle stated that after he felt he was clear when making his way across towards the rail. Sam Ewing stated that his horse is a big that got unbalanced when he stumbled on a ridge and did not clip a heel. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the video footage was inconclusive and therefore took no further action

Sam Ewing, rider of Plunkett (GB) trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with trouble everywhere from the out of control horse
N.M. Crosse, rider of Fennor Cross trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left
Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Blankiedoodie (GB) trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was slowly away and then ran very keen
P.A. Harnett, rider of Ask Delaney (GB) trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped after a furlong.
