Charlie Bennett, the rider of Affair (GB), placed seventh, had appeared to stop riding shortly before the winning post.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Bennett was cautioned for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing on a horse that would have finished sixth.
Following the race, Charlie Bennett reported that Affair (GB), placed seventh, ran too free.
Erika Parkinson reported that Kybosh, placed fifth, was slowly into stride and hung left-handed.
