The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing straight involving Parisienne Ways, ridden by C.J
MacRedmond, unplaced, Harry's Legacy (GB), ridden by Sarah E. McCarthy, unplaced and Monty's Way, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed first, where it appeared that Harry's Legacy got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. J. MacRedmond stated that his mount tried to lug in behind the leader. Sarah E. McCarthy stated that she received interference from her outside. M. P. Sheehy stated that his mount hung in. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that M. P. Sheehy was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered M. P. Sheehy's record in this regard the Stewards suspended M. P. Sheehy for four racedays

The Stewards interviewed Sam Ewing, rider of Duffle Coat, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Sam Ewing was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency and having considered Sam Ewing's record in this regard the Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
