An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 3 furlongs out, involving Hey Pretty (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Millie Wonnacott and Maverick Style (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Saffie Osborne.
Wonnacott was suspended for 5 days for careless riding as she was inattentive when switching her mount left-handed for a clear run, causing Osborne to become short of room and to check her mount for a number of strides.
A further result of this was for Hey Pretty (IRE) to be placed onto the heels of PEACHY CARNEHAN, placed third, which resulted in Hey Pretty (IRE) touching a heel and to further lose her position.
The winner, Porterinthejungle (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Chepstow on 17 June 2024 where the mare finished eighth of fourteen, beaten 6 lengths.
