Permission was given for Miss Calculation (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the first bend involving True Nation (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Oisin McSweeney; Cut To The Chase (GB), placed second, ridden by Jack Doughty, and Just Typical (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Saffie Osborne.
The interference was found to be accidental in that a hard pulling True Nation (IRE) had edged marginally left-handed, causing Just Typical (GB) to be steadied when short of room which in turn resulted in Cut To The Chase (GB), which was following, being badly hampered.
Approximately 1 furlong out, Evoluir (IRE), unplaced, shifted left-handed away from the whip before being quickly corrected by its rider, resulting in Just Typical (GB), placed fifth, being checked in its run, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The performance of Coconut Bay (GB), which finished unplaced, beaten by 11½ lengths was considered.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race endoscopic examination revealed the mare had mucus in its trachea.
Following the race, William Cox reported that Iconic Knight (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling and Jack Doughty reported that Cut To The Chase (GB), placed second, hung right-handed.
Saffie Osborne reported that Just Typical (GB), placed fifth, was denied a clear run approaching and passing the final furlong marker; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination revealed the gelding finished lame on its left-hind.
