Permission was given for Miss Enigma (IRE) to go early to post and be mounted in the chute.
Miss Enigma (IRE), placed third, jumped awkwardly from the stalls and shifted right-handed carrying Scale Force (GB), placed second, onto the winner, Superseded (IRE), which was badly crowded for room and in turn caused Society Star (GB), placed seventh, and Jill Rose (GB), placed fourth, to be hampered which also resulted in Griggy (IRE), placed sixth, receiving a bump and having its quarters turned, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Miss Enigma (IRE).
It was noted that an object appeared to fall from the saddle of Superseded (IRE) approaching the final furlong.
After further investigation, it was discovered that the object was the rider’s sponsorship logo which had become detached in the home straight and no further action was taken.
Following the race, Cieren Fallon reported that Scale Force (GB), placed second, ran too freely and Brett Doyle reported that Society Star (GB), placed seventh, hung right-handed throughout.
