Permission was given for Bequest (GB) and Sepahi (GB) to go early to post and for Miss Enigma (IRE) to be mounted in the chute.
Sean Davis, the rider of Micronize (IRE), drawn 12, had appeared not to keep straight from the stalls.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, the rider was suspended for 1 day.
Leaving the stalls, Not So Shy (GB), unplaced, jumped awkwardly and shifted right causing Miss Gargar (GB), placed third, Under Curfew (GB), placed sixth, and Miss Enigma (IRE) to all be inconvenienced.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving the winner, Micronize (IRE), ridden by Sean Davis; Alicia Darcy (IRE), placed second, ridden by Luke Morris; Miss Enigma (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Finley Marsh and Under Curfew (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Tom Marquand.
Davis was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left towards the rail when insufficiently clear, crowding Alicia Darcy (IRE) which in turn bumped Miss Enigma (IRE), which caused Under Curfew (GB) to be steadied across the heels of Miss Gargar (GB), placed third.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving Alicia Darcy (IRE), placed second, ridden by Luke Morris and Miss Gargar (GB), placed third, ridden by George Wood.
Morris was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to hang right without sufficient correction, giving a bump to Miss Gargar (GB) which was carried slightly off its intended line.
On the run to the line, the winner, Micronize (IRE), hung left despite the rider’s best efforts causing Tease Maid (GB), placed fourth, to be short of room on the rail, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Micronize (IRE).
Following the race, Finley Marsh, the rider of Miss Enigma (IRE), placed seventh, and Elisha Whittington, the rider of Not So Shy (GB), unplaced, both reported their mounts reared in the stalls.
David Probert reported that Bequest (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
