It was noted on the approach to the final fence in the back straight that Auditoria (GB), which was running loose after unseating its rider, shifted left-handed, carrying the winner, Jacks Touch (IRE), onto Spitfire Girl (IRE), placed fifth, which had to be checked by its rider.
Shortly before taking off, Auditoria (GB) continued to run left-handed, hampering and carrying Jacks Touch (IRE) and Chic Avenue (GB), unplaced, wide.
Following the race, Charlie Hammond reported that Givemylovetorose (IRE), which was pulled up, hung and jumped left-handed.
