Permission was given for both Devasboy (GB) and Micks Dream (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner, Sly Madam (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 10 March 2023 where the filly finished tenth of ten runners, beaten by 9 ¾ lengths.
It was noted that Sheena West could offer no explanation for the filly's improved form.
Sly Madam (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Jamie Spencer reported that Micks Dream (GB), placed fifth, was slowly away, Luke Morris reported that Roundabout Silver (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Carp Kid (IRE), unplaced, lost its left-fore shoe.

THE SKY SPORTS RACING SKY 415 HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) Approximately ½ furlong out, STRATEGIA (ITY), placed fourth, shifted quickly left-handed before being corrected, making contact with MACHO SUN (IRE), placed third, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The performance of BEAR FORCE (IRE) which finished last of the eight runners, was considered.
Jonathan Portman could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.
Following the race, Connor Planas reported that APEX (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away, Stefano Cherchi reported that STRATEGIA (ITY), placed fourth, ran too freely and Sean Levey reported that OPTIVA STAR (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed and the bit slipped through its mouth.
