The Stewards requested a report from Colin Bowe, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Lacken Bridge, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge had disappointed on previous runs having jumped poorly. Since then his charge received plenty of schooling and the trainer attributed today's improved performance to a clear round of jumping, over fences that were more to his liking.
