S. Foley, rider of Tasayad, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped slowly and never let himself down on the ground
L.F. Roche, rider of Ifitwasme, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the last two furlongs
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tasayad, trained by Gerard O'Leary, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.J. Slattery, rider of Elsa's Pride, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A.J. Slattery was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays
C.D. Maxwell, rider of Tara Power, trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had loads of room around the first bend but was running keen and just ran up on heels
