The Raceday Stewards received a report from Andrew Ring, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Adam Caffrey, rider of Zig Zag Zyggy, weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, Adam Caffrey accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions
Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Adam Caffrey was in breach of Rule 231 and in considering his record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
