Cleary, Sheila's Empire, ridden by C.D. Maxwell and Stander, ridden by M.A. Gallagher, where it appeared that Shiela's Empire clipped heels unseating C.D. Maxwell. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that M.A
Gallagher was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended M.A. Gallagher for 4 racedays and reminded him of his future responsibilities.
