The Stewards informed D.Broad, trainer that Little Stampy, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again. The Stewards interviewed D. Fitzpatrick, rider of That's Ours (USA), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that D. Fitzpatrick was in breach of Regulation 10 3.(g) by using his whip with the arm above shoulder height and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day and referred him to RACE for one day's instruction in the correct use of the whip.
