The Stewards interviewed D. Fitzpatrick, rider of That's Ours (USA), winner, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a Page 1 of 2 21/11/2014 21:34 recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion D. Fitzpatrick was in breach of Regulation 10 3 (g) in that he had used his whip with his arm above shoulder height, and having considered his record, the Stewards cautioned him accordingly. S. Foley, rider of Little Arrows trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't move well throughout. R.P. Downey, rider of Zambezi Tiger, trained by Garry Caldwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost his action turning into the home straight and was eased.
