The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the home straight involving Bungle Inthedesert, ridden by D.A Kidd, unplaced, Gianh River, ridden by W. Joyce, unplaced, Miqdaad, ridden by H.J. Horgan, placed first and Shanadar, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, placed sixth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.A Kidd stated that he had to sit for a stride. S.T
McCullagh stated that he suffered no interference. W. Joyce stated that he felt pressure from his right. H.J. Horgan stated that he had corrected his amount as quickly as possible. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that while Miqdaad had caused interference he had not improved his finishing position as a result of this interference so they therefore made no alterations to the judges placings. Furthermore the stewards were satisfied that H.J. Horgan had taken reasonable steps to avoid causing interference and they therefore took no further action
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the first bend involving Bungle Inthedesert, ridden by D.A Kidd, unplaced, Come On The Lads, ridden by J. Cleary, placed fifth, Gallo Dell Cielo, ridden by R. Donaghue- Leahy, unplaced and Inverbrena, ridden by R.M Mulligan, uplaced, where it appeared interference had occurred
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.A Kidd stated that there was general bunching. J. Cleary stated that his horse ran keen and took a knock. R. Donaghue-Leahy stated that she felt pressure from her outside. R.M Mulligan stated that his mount was pushed out. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any one rider and therefore took no further action
