Dundalk Wed, 20th Nov, 2024  Finsceal Annie They went quick and she was sort of off the bridle a bit, but he (McDonogh) said after halfway she came on it and he said she won nicely then. She's been extremely consistent all year, she has been an absolute gem. I'd say that is it now, she is going to have a break now. She has been busy and I just said to the lads that I want to finish on a high, on a good note. She's a lovely syndicate horse, she keeps turning up. She could possibly come back here in February, she is going to have a month off or maybe six weeks. There's no hurry in her now, she has done her job.

Gowran Park Mon, 21st Oct, 2024  Gallo Dell Cielo He’s a lovely horse and has taken a while to come to hand. He’s owned by Jeff Mahany who is a vet in Savannah, Georgia. His mother Art Scene won a couple of races for us and I think he’ll want an extra two furlongs in time.

Gowran Park Sat, 5th Oct, 2024  Midnight Our Fred I thought the trip was short but once I saw the withdrawals, knew the race had half-fallen apart. He loves that ground and it takes a fair one to jump with him as he is an unbelievable jumper. He is better going left-handed and we're going back to Cheltenham in three weeks' time. He had been eligible for an amateur riders' chase that day but has won too far today, although I think Danny did that on purpose, to keep the ride! He might now get in off bottom weight in the 3m1f William Hill Handicap Chase. I have 20 horses for the track this winter, have between 10 and 12 for point-to-points and buying and selling is all part of my job.

Tipperary Fri, 9th Aug, 2024  Finsceal Annie We bought her out-of-training at Goffs and there were a few issues afterwards but the owners were patient and she had a lovely run at Killarney the last day. To build on that today was great and she dropped in trip. My horses seem to be coming good now. The syndicate are from everywhere; there are 10 or 12 and Jack Moran, who runs some of my syndicates, put them together. There are a few local people, some from Cork and for some it is their first winner and they are having a great evening.
