An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the first bend involving Endofastorm (IRE), placed third, ridden by Kieran O’Neill; Sassy Glory (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Daniel Muscutt; and Danehill Star (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jack Doughty.
Doughty was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to shift left-handed towards the rail when not fully clear of a free-running Endofastorm (IRE), which was hampered and carried onto Sassy Glory (IRE), causing Muscutt to be tightened up for racing room down the inner.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Rose Light (GB), placed second, ridden by William Cox; Sea Master (GB), unplaced ridden by P J McDonald; Sexy Rexy (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Luke Morris, Pittsburg (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Finley Marsh; and Keen Interest, placed fourth, ridden by Anna Gibson.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Gibson was offered the opportunity to be accompanied but declined.
Cox was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he had angled his mount right-handed without being fully clear of Sea Master (GB), which was carried off its intended line and into the path of Sexy Rexy (IRE) forcing Morris to take a substantial check on that filly.
At the same time as the aforementioned incident occurred the Stewards acknowledged that Keen Interest (IRE) had hung slightly left-handed from the outside before being corrected by Gibson, resulting in Pittsburg (IRE) being hampered when tightened for room but this had not been a contributing factor to the interference suffered by McDonald or Morris.
Following the race, P J McDonald reported that Sea Master (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed.
