The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the furlong marker involving Current Option, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed third and Black Storm, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced, where it appeared Current Option moved right, into the racing line of Black Storm. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.C
Colgan stated that though he felt pressure from the left, he felt it did not affect his placing. Adam Caffrey stated that when he moved right his mount's hanging seemed to exaggerate the move. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise Adam Caffrey to be more careful in future
Adam Caffrey, rider of Current Option, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.
